Laramie, WY – HighPoint CPAs is truly proud to announce that Matt Amsberry, CPA, CFA has joined our growing firm. Matt brings a dedication to leadership, client care and extensive experience in tax, accounting, and investments. 

Having Matt join the team at HighPoint is an important milestone for the Firm in that Matt will be integral in leading the Firm initiative to become a more planning focused fully integrated tax, accounting and advisory firm.

Matthew E. Amsberry, CPA, CFA  
Matt was licensed as a Certified Public Accountant by the State of Colorado in 2003 and was also awarded the distinction of Chartered Financial Analyst in 2004. Matt began his career in public accounting in 2005 as a co-owner of a firm specializing in non-profit organizations. Alongside the growth and diversity of the tax and advisory work, Matt first licensed as a Registered Investment Advisor in 2009 and began offering investment planning services to clients. Prior to working in public accounting, Matt worked as an investment analyst and senior accountant in the mutual fund industry where he met Jason Roesler. Matt holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Colorado at Denver and an MBA from Regis University. He is also a member of the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants and the CFA Society of Colorado. 
Matt and his wife, Denise, have been happily married since 1999 and have three active, hard-working and devoted kids. Throughout his kids’ high school experience, Matt enjoyed coaching cross country and track. Now, in his free time, Matt continues to run and pursue adventures in the big mountains of the Rockies.
